Though I suspect there is a small chance that if an error is made in an analysis \u00a0of a fallacy, the right conclusion could be accidentally reached. \u00a0But I digress&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/everything-know-wrong\/garbage_paradigm\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1120\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1120\" src=\"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/garbage_paradigm-300x220.gif\" alt=\"garbage_paradigm\" width=\"300\" height=\"220\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/garbage_paradigm-300x220.gif 300w, https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/garbage_paradigm-150x110.gif 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There is another phrase with the acronym GIGO &#8211; it is &#8220;Garbage In, Gospel Out&#8221; and refers to people who have complete faith in computer generated data, and could also refer to a class of people who not only believe they are entitled to their own facts, they believe that no one has a right to disagree with them and their ill-drawn conclusions. \u00a0They have immense emotional investment in their opinions -there is a level of quasi-religious zealotry not often seen even among religious cultists, much less among rank and file churchgoers. \u00a0They have an unflappable faith in &#8220;the facts as they interpret them&#8221;, unable or more likely <em>unwilling<\/em> to waver from their dogma. \u00a0And&#8230;because their analyses eschew facts and embrace emotion, everything they know is wrong.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1121\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/everything-know-wrong\/climatron\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1121\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1121\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1121\" src=\"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/climatron-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"For example....\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/climatron-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/climatron-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/climatron-270x270.jpg 270w, https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/climatron.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1121\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">For example&#8230;.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pulling all this together into the context of The Big Picture: daily living is an exercise in observing facts, processing them, formulating reactions to them and then taking those actions. \u00a0If your data is bad, or your formula is bad then face it &#8211;
