\u00a0The outlook is grim.<\/p>\n<p>Webster&#8217;s defines &#8220;luck&#8221; as\u00a0<i style=\"color: #252525;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Luck\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;a purposeless, unpredictable and uncontrollable force that shapes events favorably or unfavorably for an individual, group or cause&#8221;<\/a>. \u00a0<\/i>So &#8220;luck&#8221; on it&#8217;s own allows for the possibility of good or bad outcome. \u00a0Perhaps his faith should have rested in his &#8220;good luck&#8221; charm rather than his lucky charm which may be functioning perfectly in dispensing copious bad luck. \u00a0No matter \u00a0how random the outcome of this scenario may be, the possibilities are limited based on the situation our character put himself in to begin with. \u00a0He &#8220;pushed his luck&#8221; by walking into a no-win situation. \u00a0Were the woves just going to run away?
