{"id":1228,"date":"2014-07-14T21:42:02","date_gmt":"2014-07-15T05:42:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/?p=1228"},"modified":"2014-07-14T21:42:02","modified_gmt":"2014-07-15T05:42:02","slug":"case-youre-new","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/case-youre-new\/","title":{"rendered":"In Case You&#8217;re New Here"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"TweetButton_button\" style=\"float: right; margin-left: 10px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/share\" class=\"twitter-share-button\"  data-url=\"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/case-youre-new\/\" data-text=\"In Case You&#038;%238217;re New Here\" data-lang=\"en\">Tweet<\/a><br \/>\n<script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,\"script\",\"twitter-wjs\");<\/script><\/div>\n<p>In case you&#8217;re new here, welcome! \u00a0And here are a few ins and outs of how my blog operates. \u00a0First off, I&#8217;m Mike, the sole proprietor. \u00a0Pleased to meet you. \u00a0This blog is my peronal communication platform, and posts here reflect only my personal opinions. \u00a0I claim no expertise in anything. \u00a0In other words, if I write about Law, do not use that as legal advice. \u00a0If I write about medicine, do not take that as medical advice. \u00a0Get the picture? \u00a0OK, good. \u00a0Since there is no &#8220;official&#8221; theme to this blog, you will find posts about many different subjects here which may (or may not) fall loosely into one of several &#8220;categories&#8221; which you will find listed in the right hand sidebar just under the &#8220;recent posts&#8221;. \u00a0If you want the unfiltered blog, that is to see all posts regardless of category, simply start at the top and keep scrolling down. \u00a0Newest posts are at the top, and as you scroll down you go back in time. \u00a0If you wish to view only posts in a certain category, then find the category you want in the sidebar and click on it. \u00a0Voila! \u00a0Only posts in that category will be displayed. \u00a0Also in the sidebar are listed &#8220;popular posts&#8221; and &#8220;recent posts&#8221;. \u00a0Popular posts are those most viewed &#8211; not neccessarily the best, but most viewed. \u00a0For whatever reason. \u00a0And recent posts are just that&#8230;the most recent posts. \u00a0At any time you can click on the &#8220;home&#8221; button at the top right to bring you back to the top of the front page.<\/p>\n<p>Within each post I will embed links for additional information &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/?p=661\" target=\"_blank\">whenever you see red text like this you can click on it<\/a>, and it will open the link in a new tab. \u00a0Try it. \u00a0Back? OK, good. \u00a0Many of the graphics such as pictures, graphs or cartoons may be enlarged simply by clicking on them. \u00a0Some of these graphics are mine, others are not.
