\u00a0I believe that men and women are different, so different in fact, they are like two different species. \u00a0I am often surprised that men and women can even communicate much less have relationships and&#8230;*ahem*&#8230;relations. \u00a0Same sex attraction? \u00a0Not going there. \u00a0Unqualified to comment. \u00a0Well, the girl-girl thing I guess I understand because I like women. \u00a0So..what&#8217;s not to like? \u00a0Why wouldn&#8217;t some women like women too. \u00a0The dude-dude thing <em>I do not get at all<\/em>. \u00a0But then if men are just repulsive, why would any women like men? \u00a0Oh forget it.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, my point was going to be that scientists spend a lot of time studying human behaviors including physical attraction. \u00a0And as scientists are wont to do, they must break things down into quantifiable data. \u00a0This leads to theories like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.intmath.com\/numbers\/math-of-beauty.php\" target=\"_blank\">The Mathematics Of Physcial Attraction<\/a>, which loosely means that we prefer our potential mates to have a symetrical appearance. \u00a0Then there are the Pheromone theories that odors so subtle we don&#8217;t even know that we can smell them govern our choice of a partner. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.slate.com\/blogs\/wild_things\/2014\/08\/25\/human_pheromones_the_lack_of_a_jacobson_s_or_vomeronasal_organ_doesn_t_keep.html?wpsrc=fol_tw\" target=\"_blank\">Presumably that partners &#8220;suitable for mating&#8221; \u00a0emit these attractive odors that we are drawn to<\/a>. \u00a0Witness: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/lifeandstyle\/shortcuts\/2014\/mar\/30\/pheromone-parties-sniff-new-lover-dating\">Pheromone parties<\/a>. \u00a0Then there are the statisticians who want to calculate the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2014\/07\/15\/science\/the-advanced-metrics-of-attraction.html\" target=\"_blank\">given odds of a chance meeting blooming into a realtionship.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/know-love-makes-world-go-round-makes-us-go-round\/what-is-love\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1494\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1494 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/what-is-love-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"what-is-love\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/what-is-love-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/what-is-love-150x99.jpg 150w, https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/what-is-love.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is undeniable that on one level, we are simply animals and as such our behavior will be instinctive, that is somewhat involuntary reactive behavior governed by our cerebral cortex where our basic &#8220;programming&#8221; resides. \u00a0Proviso: \u00a0I have no expertise or education in this area and what you are reading should be taken as my <em>opinion<\/em> rather than scientific fact. \u00a0Back to our story: \u00a0All the Scientific approaches to measuring attraction that were mentioned above study the basic or instinctive reactions. \u00a0But human beings are more than animals. \u00a0We have spiritual qualities that can&#8217;t be seen, measured and calculated and these qualities will influence our behaviors as well.<\/p>\n<p>So there are some reason for attraction on an animal level, and there are reasons why two people will connect on a spiritual level. \u00a0Animals are attracted to one another. \u00a0Spirits love one another. \u00a0This is something which we cannot see or measure &#8211; yet.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tweet Scientists spend a lot of time studying human behavior, and one aspect of human behavior is human attraction. \u00a0That is, why are two people physically attracted to each other?
