{"id":1778,"date":"2014-10-22T13:08:55","date_gmt":"2014-10-22T21:08:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/?p=1778"},"modified":"2024-11-13T17:14:27","modified_gmt":"2024-11-14T01:14:27","slug":"shes-baaaaack-woman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/shes-baaaaack-woman\/","title":{"rendered":"She&#8217;s BAAaaack&#8230;.&#8221;that woman&#8230;."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"TweetButton_button\" style=\"float: right; margin-left: 10px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/share\" class=\"twitter-share-button\"  data-url=\"https:\/\/ego-vero.net\/main\/shes-baaaaack-woman\/\" data-text=\"She&#038;%238217;s BAAaaack&#038;%238230;.&#038;%238221;that woman&#038;%238230;.\" data-lang=\"en\">Tweet<\/a><br \/>\n<script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,\"script\",\"twitter-wjs\");<\/script><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZgwTMV3EJe0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8230;.Ms. Lewisnsky<\/a>&#8220;. \u00a0Poor thing. \u00a0Hasn&#8217;t she been humiliated enough already?<\/p>\n<p>Yes, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Monica_Lewinsky\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Monica Lewinsky<\/a> has emerged from her self-imposed exile in what appears to be an attempt to rehabilitate her image. \u00a0She has recently published <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/online\/daily\/2014\/05\/monica-lewinsky-speaks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an article in Vanity Fair magazine<\/a>, and given a speech to young entrepeneurs at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/clareoconnor\/2014\/10\/20\/full-transcript-monica-lewinsky-speaks-out-on-ending-online-abuse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forbes 30 under 30 Summit<\/a>, staking\u00a0a claim on victimhood over the entire&#8230;*ahem*&#8230;affair. \u00a0Don&#8217;t get me wrong; \u00a0I have a certain amount of sympathy for her inasmuch as I believe she was a naive young woman, was used and discarded by a powerful man. \u00a0I mean, she says she was &#8220;in love&#8221; with The President and thought they had a shot a being together. \u00a0All I can say about that is either she was (is?) extremely naive, perhaps dangerously so, or Clinton really laid it on thick to get what he wanted. \u00a0I mean, c&#8217;mon. \u00a0Hillary&#8217;s just going to fade away so Monica can have Bill all to herself? \u00a0Not likely. \u00a0Monica would end up in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Suicide_of_Vince_Foster\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fort Marcy Park <\/a>before that would happen. \u00a0In the context of those events, yes, she was victimized. \u00a0But she doesn&#8217;t acknowledge that victimization. \u00a0She claims she was victimized by&#8230;The Internet. \u00a0And Matt Drudge. \u00a0And Ken Starr. \u00a0What about Bill? \u00a0I <em>LOVED<\/em> him&#8230;so he&#8217;s blameless. \u00a0Except, he&#8217;s not. \u00a0<em>He&#8217;s the only one to blame<\/em>. \u00a0Stroll down memory lane, if you will, courtesy of The Other McCain. \u00a0If your memory of how events unfolded is foggy, <a href=\"http:\/\/theothermccain.com\/2014\/10\/21\/the-externalization-of-responsibility-monica-lewinskys-personal-shame\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a Robert Stacy McCain slap upside your head will bring things into focus.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yes, this as an attempt at image rehabilitation with a twist. \u00a0By that I mean that I&#8217;m not so sure that this whole image rehabilitation was her idea. \u00a0Could this have anything to do with the resurgent Clinton Political Dynasty? \u00a0Is Hillary clearing the scandal spindle? \u00a0Hmmm&#8230;let&#8217;s think for a minute. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cui_bono\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Cui Bono<\/em><\/a>? \u00a0Who does this help? \u00a0I wouldn&#8217;t be a bit surprised if there was a little bird (winged monkey?) whispering in Monica&#8217;s ear. \u00a0I mean, why now? \u00a0And why cast the blame everywhere except where it truly belongs &#8211; on the shoulders of William Jefferson Clinton?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Monica: &#8220;Something something <em>it&#8217;s not Bill&#8217;s fault<\/em>! \u00a0I still love you, Bill! wink wink&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Who thinks that&#8217;s a good idea? \u00a0Nobody sane, that&#8217;s who. \u00a0And so I don&#8217;t think the victimization of Monica Lewinsky is over. \u00a0He used her once, he&#8217;s gonna use her again. \u00a0War on Women, indeed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tweet &#8230;.Ms. Lewisnsky&#8220;. \u00a0Poor thing. \u00a0Hasn&#8217;t she been humiliated enough already?
